| Abstract: | Between 1937 and 1938 the Spanish Relief Committee, Sydney, donated seven ambulances, at a cost of approximately 300 pounds each, to the Spanish Government to aid victims of fascist aggression during the Civil War, 1936-1939. The Australian Council of Trade Unions also made appeals for humanitarian assistance during the Civil War in Spain. |
