| Abstract: | Libraries have traditionally been responsible for the collection and storage of scholarly information but the twenty-first century will see changes in that role as a digital transformation in knowledge production occurs. This will require new models of collaborative activity in universities in order to provide appropriate frameworks for access to, and the storage of, scholarly information. Libraries will also be increasingly involved in the production and distribution of campus scholarly information through institutional repository and open access initiatives. |
