| Abstract: | Landscape with a distant view of buildings on a hill in the middle of the composition. One of the structures appears to be a tower. In the foreground, two men are seen from behind. One leans against a tree while the other sits with his elbow on a rock. Gold was discovered in the Creswick district, north of Ballarat in 1851. |
